Terms of use

Last updated 28 October 2026

These terms apply to your use of LevyBot, provided by Mediahubink Limited (company number 17218602, registered office 7 Tileyard North, Wakefield WF1 5FY). By using LevyBot you accept them.

What LevyBot is

LevyBot gives an indicative view of whether the Building Safety Levy is likely to apply to a residential scheme in England, an estimate of the charge, and a list of evidence the collecting authority may ask for. It works only from the information you enter and the official levy rates published by the government.

What LevyBot is not

You should check the official GOV.UK Building Safety Levy guidance and take professional advice before relying on any figure for a financial or commercial decision.

Accuracy

We take care to keep the rates and rules in LevyBot up to date, but the regulations and guidance can change, and the result depends on the accuracy of what you enter. We do not guarantee that LevyBot is complete, accurate or always available.

Our liability

LevyBot is provided free of charge. To the extent the law allows, Mediahubink Limited is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on its results, including loss of profit, business or opportunity. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

A Readiness Report, if you commission one, is provided under its own terms agreed with you at the time.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse LevyBot, including by submitting false or automated requests, attempting to access systems you are not authorised to use, or interfering with how the service runs.

Content and licences

The LevyBot name, design and content belong to Mediahubink Limited. Levy rates and guidance contain public sector information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0. Example figures are taken from documents published with planning application 25/02291/FUL on Wakefield Council's planning register and are used for illustration only.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute.
